Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1: Depart from LAX or your local airport. Meet new friends on your flight to England! On The Plane Day 2: Arrive at London Heathrow Airport before 12:00 noon and BUZZ's Guides will escort you to the hotel via the Underground/Tube/Subway. Join BUZZ on an orientation walk and view Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, Thames River, London Eye, Horse Grounds, Trafalgar Square and the shopping areas in Piccadilly Circus, Covent Garden, and Leicester Square. Tonight experience a London Pub or Disco or a night walk of the city lights. London Day 3: Optional visit to Westminster Abbey in the morning. Next we will stroll through St. James Park on our way to watch the Changing of the Guards at Buckingham Palace. BUZZ and the Guides will continue on and show you historic sites like Tower Bridge and Tower of London. Your afternoon is free to explore more museums, historical sites or go shopping at Harrods or in Soho. Tonight, go dancing try an Indian Restaurant or meet locals in a British Pub. London Day 4: Today is a free day to explore what interest you. Art Museums, History Museums, Science Museums, Shopping, Street Markets, etc. OR join your guides and explore the city in a group. Tonight, dance away your last night in London or explore more of London. London Day 5: Catch The Tube to St. Pancras train station and board your train to France. Yes, you will travel by train under the English Channel on the Eurostar “High Speed” Chunnel train from London to Paris in only 2hrs. & 20mins. with speeds up to 186mph. Arrive Paris Explore the area around your hotel. Visit the shops, check out the menus at the cafes and explore the 4 supermarkets in the area. we visit Champs-Elysees, Arc de Triomphe, place de la Concorde, and if the weather is clear and warm, purchase food and we will all have a picnic in front of the Eiffel Tower which is just a 5 minute stroll away. Watch 20,000 strobe lights sparkle on the Eiffel Tower at 10:00pm. You will have the option to go to the top and enjoy the city views & sunset. Paris Day 6: We visit Montmartre, Sacre Coeur, Moulin Rouge and then onto The Louvre at 6:00pm for free admission for those age 25 and under. Bring your legal I.D. Day 7: Take the train out to Versailles or take a relaxing stroll in one of many beautiful parks, go shopping and splurge at a French café tonight. This is a free Day to go on your own or hang out with your guides. Optional visit to Museum Rodin, D'Osay and the Pompidou. Paris Day 8: Board a morning train and head on down for some beach time in the French Riviera and relax! Hit the beach and tan, swim, snorkel, play soccer and rest your feet on the beautiful beaches. Tonight, celebrate and dance the night away! Nice Day 9: Take a morning train and explore Monaco and Monte Carlo. On the way back to Cannes, stop off at a beautiful bay with emerald waters for more beach time! Tonight, explore the many outdoor restaurant choices and stroll the promenade or dance in a local disco! Nice Day 10: Catch a morning train to the enchanting Cinque Terre in Italy. Manarola: After checking in, go swimming and cliff jumping in the Italian Riviera. Try out one of the amazing restaurants for a true Italian meal! Tonight sit back with a Gelato and enjoy the sunset with ocean views. Manarola / Cinque Terre Day 11: Hike from village to village with amazing ocean views. Rent an ocean kayak and paddle along the cliffs. Stop in at the village of Vernazza and taste the best gelato in the world. Take a beach break in Monterosso and work on that summer tan. After dinner, get 2 scoops of your favorite flavor of gelato and stroll the Via dell Amore and enjoy flood-lit views of the waves below. Manarola,/Cinque Terre Day 12: FREE day in Cinque Terre – Swim, Paddle Board, Hike, Tan or visit nearby Italian resort villages on the ocean like Levanto or Banassola. Manarola, Cinque Terre Day 13: Train to Pisa and take the local bus out to Piazza of Miracles for a view of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Take your silly pictures holding up or pushing over the tower and continue on to Florence. Explore the city and view Florence’s Gothic Cathedral, The Duomo & Baptistery. Explore the city streets and view San Lorenzo Church, Palazzo Vecchio, Ponte Vecchio Bridge, Uffizi Courtyard and more! Tonight, check out a local Disco or watch street artists in the pedestrian zone while you enjoy the local gelato. Take a walk up the river to Piazzale Michelangelo and watch the amazing sunset over Florence. Florence Day 14: Day trip to Rome on Eurostar’s “High Speed” train in only 1 hour & 40 minutes. We will use the Metro and view the Colosseum, Arch of Constantine, Roman Forum, Arch of Titus, Trajan’s Market & Column, Capitol Hill & Forum view, Victor Emmanuel Monument, Vatican City, St. Peter's Square & Basilica. We will walk the back streets and visit Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. (You will have time for an optional visit to the Vatican Museum & Sistine Chapel. Student I.D required for a discount). Florence Day 15: Take a 2 hour "Power Nap" on the high speed train to the Island of Venice. We will explore and stop off of a visit to the Jewish Ghetto, Rialto Bridge, St. Mark's Square and Basilica, Bridge of Sighs, Doge's Palace and more, You can join your friends for a memorable gondola ride for about 15.00 Euros or take a taxi boat back to the via Grand Canal for about 12.00 Euros. Venice may charge a entrance fee or tax to visit in 2023. Florence Day 16: A FULL FREE DAY - sleep in, explore Florence, go shopping or take a side trip to the hilltop town of Siena. Florence Day 17: We board a morning train through the Alps to the "Adventure Capitol of the World" in Interlaken, Switzerland. Sign up for optional hair-raising adventures (check out pricing at https://www.outdoor-interlaken.ch Canyoning, Paragliding, Canyon Swing, Hang gliding, Bungee Jumping, River Rafting or do the ultimate experience and Sky Dive out of a helicopter at 14,000 feet! Walk through the quaint downtown and shop for Swiss army knives as you enjoy the surrounding views of the Swiss Alps. Tonight, meet backpackers from all over the world at a local hostel and disco. Interlaken Day 18: FREE day for adventure sports, a day hike in the Alps, shopping or bike riding. Meet everyone back at the hotel pool to share your amazing stories. Tonight, take a Chocolate Making Class. Interlaken Day 19: FREE day for adventure sports, go exploring, shopping, bike riding or join BUZZ for an optional amazing day trip into the Swiss Alps via bus, train and cable cars to Lauterbrunnen, Grutschalp, Murren, Gimmelwald and Stechelberg. Stop by the local market and purchase your food for a picnic and take pictures with the Swiss cows and the million dollar views of the Jungfrau mountain range. Meet everyone back at the hotel pool to share your stories. Interlaken Day 20: Board a morning train through the Swiss and German countryside on your way to Munich. Afternoon city tour that will end up at the nearby Beer Gardens. If train schedules do not offer good connections and afternoon arrivals, we may charter luxury coaches for your transfer to Munich. Munich Day 21: Morning trip to Dachau and return at noon. Free afternoon in Munich. Go shopping, visit museums and meet back up at the beer gardens. Salzburg, Austria is an optional afternoon trip for a fee. Munich Day 22: Morning train to The Netherlands. Join us for a city tour. Amsterdam Day 23: Anne Franks (reservations are required and can be bought two months before). Optional visits to the Van Gogh, Rijks Museums or Heineken Brewery. Take in a bike ride or spend the day exploring the side streets and canals while shopping for the last minute gifts and souvenirs. Tonight join the group and new friends for a night out on your last night in Europe. Amsterdam Day 24: Board your flight for home or extend your stay. Go back to Drop Down menu and select next page
