Can I go by myself or do I need a roommate?

On the past 12 summer tours, over 25% of the participants were solo travelers. Call BUZZ for a reference. You can pick a new roommate at every lodging property that we stay at. Get to know everyone on the tour!

How many people go on each tour?
Maximum of 40-50 persons per tour!

When do I sign up?
NOW! The tours have SOLD-OUT for the past 12 years! Mail your deposit TODAY to guarantee your spot on the tour! Balance is due by April 1st.

How much extra spending money do we need to bring?
That all depends on your eating, drinking and shopping habits! Over the past 12 years, my clients have spent from $800.00 - $1,200.00 The overall average has been around $1000.00 Your spending money is for lunch, dinner, optional tours or museums, alcohol, shopping, phone calls, items of personal nature, etc., etc. If you budget yourself on meals by buying food and bottled water at markets and having many picnics, you can splurge in other areas! Budget yourself!

Who is our Tour Guide?
David Bussing A.K.A. BUZZ & Proud Owner. BUZZ has traveled in Europe over 26 months in 12 years. He has visited over 17 countries and taken over 1,060 train rides throughout Western and Eastern Europe and Great Britain. BUZZ will show you the famous sites, cheap eats, hot spots, nightclubs and help you avoid the tourist traps, pick-pockets & con artists.

Why should I sign up with BUZZ’S instead of one of the bus tours offered by my travel agent?
BUZZ’S is a unique combination of doing Europe by yourself and by going on a packaged charter bus tour.

Warning: On most Charter Bus tours, you view many sites from ONLY the bus windows. You also checkout of many hotels by 6:30 a.m. to board a cramped bus and travel all day. These bus tours do NOT include admissions to monuments, taxes or tips to the guides! Read the small print, your lodging maybe located up to one hour from the city center!

• BUZZ’S books a variety of very nice hotels and clean hostels that are located in the CENTER of the cities close to restaurants and all the tourist sites. Note: Most BUS tour packages stay up to 40 minutes outside the city for cheaper hotel rates.
• With BUZZ’S you get to enjoy the culture and nightlife of the city at all hours and it’s just outside your door! You can go for an early morning walk/jog or view the illuminated monuments at night on your own leisure time.
• Experience: BUZZ’S teaches you the ropes of traveling Europe. If you are interested, BUZZ will show you how to get the most of your travel days from subways and trains to museums and monuments. On many days you can break off from the group and explore the cities on your own, go shopping or just relax in a park or beach.
• Up Close and Personal: BUZZ’S allows you to see everything in person, up close and personal. You get to touch and smell the sights and scents of Europe. You can go for early morning or late night walks and view the sites without the crowds or under the lights at night. Very romantic, especially in Paris, the City of Love!
• Train Travel: BUZZ’S travels through Europe by train for more flexibility with frequent departures between the cities and they are NOT as claustrophobic as the tour buses. Trains also give you more room to move around. Visit the dining cars, meet new friends exploring the entire train or take your pick of NON-smoking or smoking cars. Trains also provide you with more chances to meet and converse with the locals and other travelers.

Can we extend our tour and go on our own?
YES! Let BUZZ teach you skills needed to travel on your own and take off and explore the world! Many past clients have traveled to Spain and Greece. Call BUZZ for details and prices. Note: Some clients in the past have left our group in Italy to visit Spain and join back up with us in Amsterdam.

Yes. You can start and end at any of the cities we visit. See Below.

Do we have any FREE TIME?
After 12 years of European Tours and Experience, BUZZ has fine-tuned the tours to cater to the majority of the group. Even though BUZZ will push you to do and see more everyday, he has also learned to let you go at your own pace. Many options are given and BUZZ will always point you in the right direction so that you can explore your interests.

Why aren’t all the meals provided and included in the tour price?
Group meals in Europe SUCK! You must plan your day around your meals and you must eat at a specified time and at a specified restaurant. Experience has taught us that everyone has individual tastes, appetite & varying amounts of consumption. BUZZ and past clients prefer the flexibility in when, where, what and how much in regard to meals. You can picnic in the parks, eat at a sidewalk cafe, or compare the taste of a McDonald’s hamburger in Europe. It’s your choice! BUZZ will be happy to show you his favorite restaurants, cafes and small markets!

How do I get a passport?
Stop by Costco photo department or a Kinko’s and get 2 passport photos. Stop by your local post office and ask them for a passport application and where the nearest Passport Processing Center is located near your home. Do it now, it takes up to four weeks!

Do I need any travel visas?
If you are a U.S. citizen, you do NOT need any visas to the country we are going to visit. If you have citizenship from another country or you only have a green card, you must check with your Embassy or Consulate and the U.S. Government. DO IT NOW!

What type of luggage do we need?
BUZZ’S and past clients suggest a travel bag that converts into a backpack. (Small suitcases with wheels are O.K. But you must be able to carry them up many stairs). Backpacks are so convenient when using the trains and climbing the many stairs in Europe. Don’t worry, you won’t be wearing the backpack everyday. You only carry your pack when transferring to and from the train station and your lodging. The backpacks also have a removable daypack when you are exploring the sites of the city. Load it up with your water bottle, camera, film, snacks and see the world!
